The Laurel & Hearth Design Process
Designing your home should feel exciting, not overwhelming. My e-design process is structured to guide you from inspiration to a fully realized space with clarity and ease.
1. Inquiry & Booking
Begin by filling out the design questionnaire and selecting the package that best fits your space. Once your project is confirmed, you’ll receive a welcome email outlining the next steps.
2. Questionnaire & Discovery Call
You’ll complete a detailed design questionnaire and share photos, measurements, your budget, and inspiration for your space.
We’ll then meet for a discovery call to discuss your vision, lifestyle needs, and how you want the space to feel.
3. Mood Board Presentation
Next, I’ll present a curated mood board that establishes the design direction for your space. This includes the overall aesthetic, color palette, and key materials that will guide the design.
4. Concept Design
Once the mood board is approved, I’ll develop the full design concept. This stage focuses on furniture selections, layout planning, and how the room will function as a cohesive space.
5. Final Design Package
After the concept is finalized, you’ll receive your complete design package,
which includes:
• Photorealistic renderings
• A scaled floor plan
• A curated shopping list with direct product links
• Styling guidance for finishing touches
6. Implementation
With your design plan in hand, you can shop and install the space at your own pace!
The final design package serves as your roadmap to bringing the room to life.
Projects typically take 2–3 weeks from start to final delivery,
depending on the scope of the space and revision timing.
Each package includes one revision to ensure your design feels just right.
